UNITED STATES MEN'S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM

The United States men's national soccer team (USMNT) represents the U.S. in international men's soccer and is governed by the United States Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA and CONCACAF.

The U.S. has appeared in eleven FIFA World Cups, reaching the semifinals in 1930 and finishing third, the best result for a team outside UEFA and CONMEBOL. They qualified again in 1934, 1950, and from 1990 onwards, with a notable quarterfinal finish in 2002 and a round of 16 appearance as hosts in 1994. The U.S. also competes in continental tournaments, winning seven CONCACAF Gold Cups, three Nations League titles, and finishing fourth in the Copa América in 1995 and 2016.

FIFA World Cup 2026: The U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) will play its group stage matches in Los Angeles and Seattle. The tournament schedule, announced by FIFA on Sunday, will conclude with the final at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
