FRANCE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM

The France national football team, known as *Les Bleus* (The Blues), represents France in international men's football and is governed by the French Football Federation (FFF). The team, founded in 1904, plays its home matches at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis and trains at the Centre National du Football in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines. The team's colors reflect the French tricolor and the Gallic rooster, symbolizing their national identity. France is a member of UEFA and FIFA and has a rich history of success on the global stage.

France has won two FIFA World Cups (1998, 2018) and two UEFA European Championships (1984, 2000). The team achieved its first significant success in the 1980s under Michel Platini, securing Euro 1984 and reaching the World Cup semi-finals in 1982 and 1986. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, under Didier Deschamps and Zinedine Zidane, France won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000, also claiming the Confederations Cup in 2001 and 2003. After a near miss in 2006 and Euro 2016, France triumphed again in 2018 and won the 2021 Nations League. They reached the World Cup final again in 2022. France is one of only two nations to have won all men's FIFA 11-player competitions across all age levels and holds intense rivalries with teams such as Belgium, England, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Argentina.
