About

The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), located in Moore Park, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, serves as a venue for Test, One Day International, and Twenty20 cricket matches. Additionally, it hosts Australian rules football and sporadically accommodates rugby league, rugby union, and association football events. It serves as the home ground for the New South Wales Blues cricket team, the Sydney Sixers of the Big Bash League, and the Sydney Swans of the Australian Football League. Operated by Venues NSW, a Government of New South Wales agency overseeing Stadium Australia and the Sydney Football Stadium, the SCG is under their ownership and management.

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust, commonly known as the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust, managed both the Sydney Cricket Ground and the former Sydney Football Stadium in Moore Park. In mid-2008, they inaugurated The Sheridan Building as their headquarters, becoming the third structure within the Gold Members Car Park alongside the Sydney Roosters and New South Wales Rugby Union headquarters. Following a merger, the trust became part of Venues NSW, currently overseeing operations at the SCG and the new Sydney Football Stadium.

Subsequently, Sydney FC moved their Headquarters to the Sheridan Building, while the Sydney Swans' headquarters are situated within the SCG premises accessible from Driver Avenue. Altogether, the ground accommodates headquarters for four different sporting clubs across four different codes.

The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will host several NRL events in 2024. One of the prominent fixtures is the Sydney Roosters' home games. The Roosters will play against various teams throughout the season, with specific dates to be announced.
