HBF Park NRL 2024

About

HBF Park, also known as Perth Oval or Perth Rectangular Stadium, is located near Perth's central business district in Western Australia. Built in 1910, it has a capacity of 20,500 for sports events, which expands to 25,000 for concerts, and even reached 32,000 for Ed Sheeran in 2015.

The stadium hosts the Western Force rugby union team in the Super Rugby AU and Super Rugby competitions, and the West Coast Pirates rugby league team in the S.G. Ball Cup. Since 2009, it has hosted at least one annual rugby league game, often featuring the Sydney Rabbitohs and occasionally the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. Notably, HBF Park hosted Perth's first rugby league test match in October 2016, where the Australian Kangaroos defeated the New Zealand Kiwis 26-6. It was also a venue for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, hosting matches between England & France and Wales & Ireland.
