Where Can I Park at the Gabba?

Parking is quite limited at the Gabba, with the ground encouraging patrons to take the environmentally friendly option of public transport. 

There are secure parking garages in the general area of the ground where you can park and walk to the stadium. These providers recommend booking in advance of event day to avoid disappointment.

As one of the premier entertainment venues in Brisbane, the Gabba has a capacity of approximately 42,000 and is regularly filled to the brim.

Who Is Playing at the Gabba?

The Brisbane Lions were born of a merger between the Brisbane Bears and the Fitzroy Lions. While their original union got off to a rocky start, few could have foreseen that bringing together the two clubs would result in one of the all-time greatest teams the AFL has ever seen. The early 2000s saw the Brisbane Lions win three consecutive AFL grand finals, cementing their place in the competition and in the hearts of Queensland sporting fans.

While the club has failed to reach the same lofty heights, they’re still an exciting side to watch and play all their home matches at the Gabba. For Brisbane Lions fans, there’s no better place to see their heroes in action.
