Naomi Osaka (大坂 なおみ), born October 16, 1997, is a Japanese tennis player who has held the WTA world No. 1 ranking and is the first Asian to achieve this in singles. A four-time Grand Slam champion with titles at the US Open and Australian Open, she became the first Japanese player to win a major singles title.
