London Spirit is a 100-ball cricket franchise situated in North London. It represents the historic counties of Middlesex, Essex, and Northamptonshire in The Hundred, introduced for the first time during the 2021 English and Welsh cricket season. Both the men's and women's teams host their home games at Lord's.

A Historic Cricket Franchise in The Hundred

The 2019 announcement of the new eight-team men's and women's tournament series stirred controversy. Notably, Virat Kohli criticized the England and Wales Cricket Board for moving away from Test cricket, while others argued for the established Twenty20 format. However, the ECB aimed for a unique format to boost attendance.

In August 2019, Shane Warne and Lisa Keightley were appointed coaches for the men's and women's teams, respectively. The inaugural Hundred draft in October 2019 saw Rory Burns and Heather Knight as headline picks for the London Spirit. Upcoming London Spirit Men Events

London Spirit Men's team has a series of upcoming matches in The Hundred Men's Competition. On July 25, 2024, they will play their second match in Southampton. Following that, they will compete in the fifth match on July 28 at Lord's. On August 1, the team will be back at Lord's for the 10th match, and on August 4, they will play their 15th match at Lord's as well.
