THE DAMNED – ‘THE FINAL DAMNATION 50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR’ AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND TICKETS 2026

UK punk pioneers The Damned have announced they will tour Australia and New Zealand in 2026.

All You Need To Know About The Damned

The Damned are a pioneering English punk rock band formed in London in 1976 by Brian James, Captain Sensible, Dave Vanian and Rat Scabies. Emerging from the city’s early proto-punk scene, they quickly established themselves as key figures in the genre, playing their debut show in support of the Sex Pistols. Later that year, they released “New Rose,” widely regarded as the first British punk single, securing their place in music history ahead of many of their contemporaries.
Across a career spanning five decades, The Damned have become known for their energetic performances and evolving sound, blending punk with gothic and alternative influences.

Despite numerous line-up changes, the band has maintained a strong following and critical recognition, with enduring tracks such as “Neat Neat Neat,” “Love Song,” and “Smash It Up.” Their legacy remains significant, with their influence evident across generations of punk and alternative artists.
