McFly, an English pop-rock band formed in 2003, took their name from the "Back to the Future" character Marty McFly. Comprised of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd, they initially signed with Island Records before starting their own label, Super Records, in 2007. Rising to fame with their debut album "Room on the 3rd Floor," they broke records as the youngest band to debut at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Their subsequent albums, "Wonderland," "Motion in the Ocean," "Radio:Active," and "Above the Noise," also enjoyed chart-topping success. They joined forces with Busted to form McBusted, followed by a hiatus and solo projects. McFly regrouped, announcing new albums and tours, including "Young Dumb Thrills" in 2020. Their achievements include numerous UK top 20 singles, with seven hitting number one, and certifications for millions of records in the UK and worldwide.

Its catchy lyrics express the boys' self-doubt about not being "good enough" for a mystery girl.
