All You Need To Know About Jason Bonham

Jason Bonham is a highly respected English drummer and the son of the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. Born on 15 July 1966 in Dudley, England, he grew up immersed in rock music and has carried on his father’s legacy, both through his own work and by performing Led Zeppelin’s music.

Jason is best known for forming and leading Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening (JBLZE), a tribute show that honours Led Zeppelin’s classic albums and songs, particularly celebrating milestones such as the 50th anniversary of Physical Graffiti. Beyond JBLZE, he has played with a variety of major acts, including Foreigner, Black Country Communion, Bonham (his own band), and UFO, and has performed alongside surviving members of Led Zeppelin at several high-profile reunions, most notably the 2007 Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert at the O2 Arena in London.

Renowned for his powerful drumming style, stage presence, and ability to capture the essence of his father’s playing, Jason Bonham is widely recognised as one of the leading drummers of his generation, keeping the spirit of Led Zeppelin’s music alive for both long-time fans and new audiences.
