Handsome Tours proudly presents the return of indie rock icons The Mountain Goats, touring Australia and New Zealand in April 2026. This marks their first Australian shows since 2017 and their first New Zealand appearances since 2010, with performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Wellington.

Fronted by John Darnielle, the band has released 23 studio albums between 1994 and 2023, earning a devoted global following. Their 24th album, Through This Fire Across From Peter Balkan, will be released on 7 November 2025 via Cadmean Dawn Records. The album, produced by Matt Douglas, features Tommy Stinson, Mikaela Davis, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and new bassist Cameron Ralston.
