All You Need To Know About Jungle

Jungle, founded in 2013 by childhood friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, emerged from their earlier indie band Born Blonde. The duo chose an artistic focus on the music's visual elements rather than their personal identity, initially hiding their names and faces. Jungle evolved into a collective, collaborating with various artists across different fields. Their live performances expanded to a seven-member band, as J and T led the group, aiming for an authentic, organic live experience. Rooted in honesty, connection, and a sense of collective energy, Jungle embodies a spirit of teamwork and genuine connection.

Jungle delivered four studio albums to date: Jungle (2014), a Mercury Prize-shortlisted record, For Ever (2018), Loving in Stereo (2021), and Volcano (2023). While the initial two albums came out through XL Recordings, the subsequent pair were released via their independent label, Caiola Records.
