All You Need To Know About The Jonas Brothers
The Jonas Brothers, an American pop-rock band, came together in 2005 and gained prominence through their appearances on Disney Channel. The band comprises three brothers namely: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas who hail from Wyckoff, New Jersey, although they later relocated to Little Falls, New Jersey in 2005. It was during this time that they composed their debut record, which was subsequently released by Hollywood Records.
The trio starred in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010. They also headlined their own Disney Channel series, initially named Jonas and later rebranded as Jonas L.A. for its second season. Across their career, the Jonas Brothers have produced six albums: It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), Happiness Begins (2019), and The Album (2023).
In 2008, the Jonas Brothers boy group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and they won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards. Before the release of Lines, Vines, and Trying Times, they had sold over eight million albums worldwide. After a hiatus between 2010 and 2011 to pursue solo projects, the group reunited in 2012 to record a new album, which was cancelled following their break-up on October 29, 2013. The Jonas Brothers melted tween hearts in the '00s and kept the hits coming into adulthood. In 2019, siblings Kevin, Joe, and Nick scored their third No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with Happiness Begins, their first album in 10 years.
