 Jinjer is a metalcore band from Donetsk, Ukraine, established in 2008. None of the original members are still part of the group. The current lineup regards 2009 as its official formation year, marked by the addition of vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk and guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov. They later welcomed bassist Eugene Abdukhanov and drummer Vladislav Ulasevich. Their latest album, Wallflowers, was released in August 2021.

Jinjer draws from a wide range of influences, including Guano Apes, Slayer, Death, Pantera, Anathema, Lamb of God, Gojira, and Twelve Foot Ninja. They also reference other metal bands like Opeth and Karnivool, along with artists from genres such as R&B, soul, funk, jazz, reggae, and hip-hop, including Cypress Hill and House of Pain.

The band is known for their progressive experimentation with genres and incorporates elements of groove metal. Bassist Eugene Abdukhanov enhances their sound with a five-string bass, especially since Roman Ibramkhalilov became the sole guitarist. Their recent lyrics reflect the war in Donbas and its effects on their hometown of Donetsk.
