HAIM AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2025
Haim is an American rock band based in Los Angeles. The band consists of the Haim sisters, Este (bass guitar and vocals), Danielle (lead vocals, guitar, and drums), and Alana Haim (guitars, keyboards, and vocals).
They originally formed Haim in 2007, but did not actively pursue it as a professional career for several years until 2012.
The group's first release, "Forever", led to a deal with Polydor Records and a management deal with the Roc Nation group in mid-2012. The band recorded material for their first album, "Days Are Gone" (2013), in sessions between touring dates. The album reached the top 10 charts in several countries, including the number 1 spot in the UK.
Haim was nominated for Best New Artist at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in 2015. Their sophomore album, "Something to Tell You", came out in July 2017. Their third album, "Women in Music Pt. III", was released in June 2020. Their third album garnered plenty of critical acclaim, with the group also receiving nominations at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards for Album of the Year (for "Women in Music Pt. III") and Best Rock Performance (for the album's headlining single, "The Steps").
Their latest album, "I Quit", is set to release on 20 June, 2025. With the band expected to tour Australia in 2025, fans are in for a treat when they make their way back down under since their last visit in 2023. What can fans expect from Haim’s 2025 Australian tour performances?
If previous shows are anything to go by, Australian Haim fans are in for a treat when they tour here again. The trio are known for putting on incredible, dynamic performances that display a raw and powerful take on their studio productions.
All three sisters are talented multi-instrumentalists, and this shines through in the diversity and array of instruments each sister plays live. Their powerful harmonies stand out, especially when performed live, and the array of cover songs they mix in with their own works keeps things varied and engaging.
Not only that, but Haim will often adapt their songs to new styles for live performances, integrating levels of experimentation and variation that lead to riveting interpretations that command the crowd’s attention from start to finish.
Which albums and songs will likely dominate Haim’s setlist this time?
Given Haim’s newest album is releasing in 2025, it’s a sure-fire bet that their tours will include a significant slice of the tracks from their latest offering.
However, given Haim has been in the music scene for almost two decades, they have plenty of previous material to draw from for their live shows. And not only are they going to perform some of their most beloved tracks, but they also tend to perform several covers from famed bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, and The Strokes. They’ve also performed covers of The Beatles’ “Get Back” and Billy Joel’s “You May Be Right”.
Other beloved Haim songs you could likely expect to hear are:
- “The Wire”
- “Don’t Save Me”
- “Days Are Gone”
- “If I Could Change Your Mind”
- “My Song 5”
What Career Milestones is Haim Celebrating on This Tour?
The 2025 Haim Australia tour will undoubtedly be themed around their upcoming fourth studio album, “I Quit”. Along with this, 2025 will effectively mark Haim’s 18th year as a group. If their band were a person, it’d be of legal drinking age (in Australia, at least). With such a storied history and a brand new album being unleashed onto the world, there are plenty of reasons for the band - and fans alike - to be celebrating with their upcoming tour.
What key dates and venues should Australian fans bookmark for Haim’s upcoming shows?
It’s worth noting the previous tours Haim have done in Australia that could paint a picture of where they go during their next one.
Historically, Haim’s attended major Australian music festivals, including the Laneway Festival back in 2014 and 2023, and Splendour in the Grass in 2017. During the same 2017 tour, they did a sideshow at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre. They’ve also performed at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Whether they’re doing a headline tour or will be performing at festivals, it’s very likely that Haim will perform in most major cities on Australia’s east coast at the very least.
For their 2025 tour, several international concert dates have already been announced, running until the end of October. So, if Australian dates are set for this year, it’s likely they’ll be some time in November or December of 2025, coinciding with the Aussie summer coming into full swing.
