The group debuted on September 7, 2015, with the EP The Day, which quickly climbed to No. 2 on Billboard's World Album Chart just a week after its release. Originally a six-member band, Day6 now consists of four members: Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Junhyeok left the band on February 27, 2016, and Jae departed on December 31, 2021.
