Born on June 5, 1976, in Staten Island, New York City, Joseph Anthony Gatto Jr. is an American comedian, actor, and producer known for his improvisational skills. He gained prominence as a member of the Tenderloins comedy troupe, alongside Sal Vulcano, James Murray, and Brian Quinn. Together, they starred in the hit television series "Impractical Jokers," which debuted on TruTV on December 15, 2011.
After forming the Tenderloins in 1998 post-college, Murray, Gatto, and Vulcano gained online fame for their sketches, winning the 2007 NBC It's Your Show competition. "Impractical Jokers" debuted in 2011, propelling Gatto to stardom with over 32 million viewers in its first season.
