Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle will be presented on 1 May 2026 at 7 pm in the Concert Hall as part of Opera Queensland’s 2026 Bel Canto Season. Despite its title, Little Solemn Mass, the work is expansive and celebratory, featuring over 100 performers on stage. The performance is scored for four soloists, choir, two pianos, and harmonium.
